Our Process
One of the biggest challenges in recycling plastic is the sheer number of different polymers that are made. The different polymers often do not bond and must undergo expensive separation before they can be reused.
RePolyTex® has solved the problem of mixing different polymers of used plastic together to make valuable products for the construction industry.
We start with plastic generated from shredding used electronic equipment such as computers, printers, monitors and similar items. At our flagship facility in Madison, North Carolina, we clean the plastic, grind it to the appropriate size, develop just the right combination of polymers and convert it into construction materials that are strong, lightweight and ideal substitutes for traditional plywood.
